Fruits and Vegetables Serving Sizes

This is a reminder to eat your daily

suggested amount of fruits and vegetables!

 

According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the daily amount of fruits and vegetables depends on your age, sex and physical activity level. If you are very physically active, you may need more.


Fruits: 4 servings per day. Your fruit can be fresh, frozen, dried, whole, cut-up/sliced, etc.

Vegetables: 5 servings per day. Your vegetables can be raw, cooked, fresh, frozen, dried/dehydrated, whole, cut-up, mashed, etc.
