Demetria Stewart, B.S., CPT, CMHFA
Inspiring you to Be Great and Elevate!
Founder and Owner of I Define Me Fitness, Certified Personal Trainer,
Fitness and Athletic Coach, Certified Mental Health First Aider (Atrium Health), Nurturer, Community Leader, Athlete, Vegan, Director of the Health and Wellness Ministry and Team Captain of Village HeartBEAT at her local church.

Entreprenuer
Created I Define Me Fitness in 2014 while attending Winston-Salem State University. Began training clients in 2016 and offered virtual classes in March of 2020.

Community Leader
Offers free exercise classes for community members. Annually provides bags with necessities (toiletries, socks, etc.) to community members within her home city, Charlotte, NC.

Vegan
Due to a previous digestive diagnosis and being more aware of what she consumed, Demetria began her vegan lifestyle on September 29th, 2018.

Athlete
Flag football player & Mad Miles Run Club runner. Her and her two teammates placed first overall in their first Charlotte Novant Health Half Marathon Relay (2021).
Demetria's Story
Demetria is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. Sports and fitness always played a major part in her life ever since she was a child. She began playing basketball at the age of eight and began playing Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball at the age of thirteen. Later, in middle and high school, she also began playing soccer and volleyball.
On March 16th, 2009, during her senior year at West Charlotte High School, her team won the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 4 Women's Basketball State Championship; the first time in school history!
After graduating from West Charlotte High School, Demetria continued her education at Winston-Salem State University where she received her Bachelor's of Science Degree of Therapeutic Recreation, minor in Psychology.
Demetria is passionate about inspiring others to Be Great and Elevate holistically.
